We are excited to welcome Chelsea Baer to our team of massage therapists at The Spa Within. Chelsea graduated for massage school in May of 2023. We feel fortunate to have her on our team as she has a passion for massage therapy and the healing arts. What are your hours of operation?

Current Spa Hours

Monday-Saturday: 9am-5pm

Sunday: 9am-12n (later by appointment)

What is the gratuity policy?

Our services do not include taxes or gratuities. In appreciation for outstanding services, gratuities may be given to the staff at your discretion. Standard gratuity is 15 – 20% of the original (non- discounted) spa treatment price. For groups of 3 or more, please add 15% gratuity to your bill. Our Wellness Coordinator at the front desk will be delighted to assist you.

Do you offer gift cards?

Spa Within Gift Cards can now be purchased online for same day email delivery - The Spa Within at The Lodge on Lake Detroit in Detroit Lakds Minnesota

Yes, gift cards are available for purchase. You can purchase those in person at The Spa Within, online, or over the phone. Gift Cards may be used towards services or retail products.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express and cash.

We require a credit card to guarantee your reservation.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

To reschedule or cancel your appointment, as a courtesy to other guests and therapists, please let us know 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for your scheduled appointment. Please note if you arrive late for your appointment, you will be charged as reserved & it will end as scheduled to prevent delaying the next scheduled guest.

How early should I arrive for my spa service

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time to check in, enjoy a steam shower if desired, and to start the relaxation process. Please turn off cell phone upon entering the spa.

Am I required to totally disrobe during my treatment?

Our therapists are highly trained professionals and will drape you discreetly and protect your privacy at all times. Undergarments are preferred.

What should I wear?

A locker, plush robes, sandals, towels, amenities and hair dryers are provided at The Spa Within for all guests receiving treatments. Hotel guests, please leave jewelry and other valuables in your room. Our day guests are responsible for any items left in the locker room. In your best interest, please leave your valuables at home.
